I need a second opinion on straightening my front teeth, I already have braces on.
I got braces to straighten my two front teeth. My right front tooth overlapped my left front tooth. I was told 18 to 20 months for treatment. Well its been 23 months and my two fronth teeth are not aligned. The left front tooth is still pushed back, that tooth has not been moved this whole time. My orthodontist said my braces are ready to come off. I said I dont think so. Now since my last appt I have a new space between my right front tooth and the one next to it. My teeth are worse now than when I started. My orthodontist never explains anything to me. I need some advice what to do to get my teeth straight and aligned.

The space between your upper right lateral and central incisor is very noticeable. If you orthodontist is happy with the outcome and believes it is acceptable to remove the brackets with the current position, I would find a new orthodontist. Usually, the front teeth are the easiest teeth to move and move first. If you are unhappy, do not have the braces removed until you are. You have invested your time and money and should be happy or receive a quality explanation.
