Almost-brodie bite with SFOT. Looking for provider recommendations

I went to my original orthodontist really wanting a wider smile and a fix to my overbite {content removed} sleep apnea. He proposed removing two premolars in order to prepare for double jaw surgery. I had the two lower premolars removed in addition to SFOT, but was left with a narrower, V {content removed} shaped lower arch. Now, I'm being told that my upper arch can no longer be expanded because it would cause a brodie bite. Is there room to expand my lower arch orthodontically (through braces) in a stable way since I already had some bone packed in there? Can this be done after my surgery? I've heard this is difficult to do; what is a good provider in Atlanta or New York that you would recommend? (photo shown is arches pre lower extraction).
