How to get rid of these overgrown gums?

How to get rid of these overgrown gums? I need to get rid of them ASAP. Tomorrow is my appointment. They started over 2 months now, and my orthodontist has been telling me to brush and I brush 2-3 times a day, and no progress. Should I start to rip them off with toothbrush? I've been brushing kinda aggressive lately.

If your orthodontist is recommending brushing, it is probably the technique, not the amount of times you are brushing daily. Be sure you are angeling your toothbrush at the gingival tissue at a 45 degree angle. Use a soft bristle toothbrush and do not be overly aggresive. A gentle circular motion can help to stimulate blood flow and remove the plaque and bacteria under the gingival tissue. Be sure you are flossing. There are surfaces between the teeth and below the gingival surface that cannot be reached with brushing alone. It may be beneficial to invest in an electric toothbrush, such as a sonicare, that has a built in timer, alerts you when brushing too abrasive, and can monitor missed areas via an app downloaded to your phone. Warm salt water rinses can also help the gingival tissue during the healing process.
