What is wrong with my cheeks?
So a few weeks ago, I switched toothpaste. I now have a white jelly like substance in the lining of cheeks! For some reason I scraped it off with my finger. Most of it came off, however, it looks like I maybe scraped to much or to hard? The are where I pulled skin is now a little red and irritated? I've done research about toothpaste, and leukoplakia. I do chew tobacco, however, the lining has never done this much scaping. I'm terrified !!

Most likely you are having a reaction to the new toothpaste. This has been a known reaction that many people experience when using Crest Prohealth or many of the Listerine products. It is actually quite common and widely known as an allergic reaction to a whitening or anti- tartar ingredient in the paste or mouth rinse. Discontinue use of the product and see if your symptoms subside. If you had other symptoms such as itching, sores, red irritation throughout or discomfort it could also be candida. If switching your toothpaste doesn't alleviate the issue, schedule an appointment with your dentist immediately for further evaluation and testing.
