Fastest Alternative To Braces?

My family did not have enough money for braces when I was young, and my teeth are not extremely crooked or rotten, but they could use a lot of work. I would rather not have braces, nor invisalign. Although, either would be fine if twas my only option, I would much rather have a quick fix, no matter the expense. Please advise if I have any options as I am getting dental insurance Sept. 1st and want to do SOMETHING by October.

Answer: Fastest alternative to braces

By

Invisalign and traditional orthodontics are both effective ways to align your teeth and correct your bite, however neither will restore the health of your teeth.  Crowns and/or veneers are both viable options to not only improve the esthetics of your smile, but to completely restore your teeth to health.  Many times it is best to use orthodontics and whitening to achieve your perfect smile, however porcelain restorations are a faster alternative, especially if they are needed.  Usually your teeth can be prepared for the porcelain crown and/or veneer restorations in one to two visits.  Then you will wear temporaries while a lab custom fabricates your new restorations.  Turn around time for most labs is 2-3 weeks.  Restoring your smile with porcelain restorations isn't a quick fix, but is much faster being accomplished in a month rather than several months to a few years in orthodontics.  Full mouth restorations are also more costly, however do make beautiful smiles.
