Adult molar extracted, no money to go back to dentist that performed it and need any advice.
I had a large cavity on an adult #15 molar, with most of the top broken off. Three weeks ago it sent a stinging/tingling pain up to my brain and made me feel cold from the inside out. Couldn't get to a dentist yet so I went to the ER and they prescribed me Penicillin and ibuprofen. I had it pulled in a simple extraction on Friday the 28th, and now it's Tuesday the 1st. Last night the same stinging/tingling pain happened, but only for a few seconds, and hasn't returned. But every so often I get a deep shooting pain even when I'm doing nothing. Now, even just laying down, my face is tingling and around the extraction site it stings and the skin over the areas is itchy. Something feels wrong but I can't be sure and I can't afford to go back to the dentist, is there anything you can tell me? He also didn't prescribe me anything after the extraction, and ibuprofen hasn't done anything for any pain I've felt.
